Mr. Cuddly

If you can’t find Mr. Right, make Mr. Cuddly.

I started working on Kagerou years ago, right after I finished the afghan of him, but only got from below the knee of one leg done before getting busy with other stuff and forgetting about him. At the beginning of November right after finding out mom was dieing I found that partial leg and started working on him again. After finding out mom was dieing I couldn’t sleep, every time I’d lay down my mind would wander to her and I’d end up crying and unable to sleep anyways, so I started staying up until I was so exhausted I was ready to collapse and would be able to fall asleep fast enough I wouldn’t have time for my mind to wander to mom. Unfortunately no matter how late I went to sleep I still automatically woke up by 8am, so I was only getting 2 or 3 hours of sleep a night. After over a month of barely sleeping I had Kagerou almost finished and was able to stuff his chest and arms, I stuck him in my bed, wrapped his arms around me and other than one night after going through some of mom’s stuff, I’ve had no problems sleeping. I guess I just needed someone to hold me so I can sleep. I think that’s why I found that leg when I did, God knew that’s what I would need to help me through this time, I’d completely forgotten I’d even started him.

Finished size is 7’ 6” head to toe and 3’ 5” shoulder to shoulder and very heavy, I couldn‘t afford that much stuffing, so he‘s stuffed with old clothes, someday when I‘m rich I‘ll replace it with real stuffing because right now he‘s a pain in the aft to move around. May also redo his hands, I'm not quite happy with them.
